MADE IN SPAIN

At EIGHT & ARGÔT we firmly believe in proximity and tradition. We work with the best local artisans, who maintain most of the manual processes and use techniques that are centuries old, with centuries-old work methods that are passed from generation to generation.

Even today we are fascinated by the manual mastery and complexity involved in the production. With them time stops, and they involve dedication, patience and large doses of affection. We want each piece to capture that authenticity, for our shoes to have soul.
Because there is no time for soulless things.

IMPERFECTLY PERFECT

Behind each pair there is laborious work, and many talented hands that make the models we imagine come true. From the making of the last until the shoe is put in its box, it passes through more than 45 expert hands.
They are not the fastest tool, but they are the most precise and the one that leaves the most love sealed in each piece. We believe in those things.

And all with the imperfect artisan perfection that we love so much, which makes each irregularity singular and unrepeatable, and each EIGHT & ARGÔT shoe unique and special.

SLOW FASHION

In a world of noise, rush and confusion, we want slowdown.

We create when it comes from within us. When we manage to shape the perfect shoe we imagine or find the materials we are looking for, and especially when we are inspired. Without the forced urgency of renewing a collection just for the sake of it, and at the same time defending a lasting and timeless creative work and substrate, not at all disposable.

Thus, the productions are reduced and impregnated with the love that only artisans transmit, we avoid unnecessary surpluses of product. Because we value the delicious sensation of feeling special, and because we defend responsible consumption that promotes durability and longer use cycles.

TIMELESS

In an environment saturated by the bustle of fleeting and passing trends, for us timelessness is not an option, but a necessity. And from the beginning we were inspired by that expansive feeling to create special pieces to live in now and always, that physically capture that intangible.

True sustainability is in reusable designs that work just as well now as they did five years ago, because they do not follow trends or seasons, they do not expire or go out of style.

You don't need a lot of shoes to go far, just the right ones. Because although life takes many turns... the right shoes take them with you.
